Looking for a Nanny in Columbia City - Starting November

 

Hi! We’re looking for a warm, reliable, and experienced nanny to care for our baby boy, who will be 5 months old at the start of care. We’re looking for long-term care continuing into 2027 and hope to find someone who will become a trusted and consistent part of his routine.

 

Details:

• Columbia City / South Seattle

• Starting November 2 but open to adding a few weeks in October

• Approximately 30-35 guaranteed hours/week

• We have some flexibility on days and exact hours and are happy to discuss a schedule that works well for the right fit

• $30–$32/hour, depending on experience

 

We’re looking for someone with strong infant experience who will keep him engaged with lots of screen-free, age-appropriate play and plenty of walks and outdoor time.

 

Responsibilities will primarily be focused on his care, including diaper changes, naps, play, and outings, along with light baby-related tidying during downtime.

 

Both parents work from home most days, but we’ll have our own work spaces and want our nanny to feel comfortable taking the lead with him during the day.

 

We also have a friendly, low-shedding Bernedoodle who will be home, so being comfortable around dogs is important, but no pet care is expected.

 

We’re looking for someone who:

• Is bilingual in Korean and English and comfortable speaking Korean with our baby throughout the day

• Has professional nanny experience, including significant infant experience

• Is infant CPR and First Aid certified

• Is up to date on vaccinations

• Is a non-smoker/non-vaper

• Can provide professional references

• Has reliable transportation

• Having a car and being comfortable driving with our baby is a plus, but not required
