The original "Where is the Love", sung by Roberta Flack and Donny Hathaway in 1972, asked painful
questions about romantic love. Love is a universal experience.

Recently Men's Health magazine took a survey of the top 5 U.S. cities for finding a mate.
The criteria were:


first, the singles ratio;

second, low divorce rates;

third, a physically-fit population;

fourth, a higher percentage of charitable singles;

and fifth, high education levels.


All these are desirable for singles who are looking for a mate.

Much of today's love-matching happens online. One doesn't need to leave the house to find dating-websites.
Some cater to the obviously wealthy. One even forces prospective members to go through a "voting in" process
(sort of like American Idol) to determine if the candidate's "looks" are good enough!
There are even websites
about those websites!
