1월 9일 새벽, 워싱턴주 타코마에서 발생한 총격 사건으로 한 남성이 사망했다.
사건은 오전 2시 30분경, 실라스 고등학교에서 몇 블록 떨어진 N 18번 거리와 노스 샤이엔(North Cheyenne) 근처에서 발생했다.
경찰은 남성이 차 옆에 누워있는 상태로 발견되었으며, 여러 군데 총상을 입었다고 밝혔다. 경찰과 소방대원들이 심폐소생술을 시도했지만, 결국 사망했다.
현재 타코마 경찰은 현장에서 사건을 조사 중이며, 용의자는 아직 공개되지 않았다. 경찰은 이번 총격 사건의 원인에 대해 추가 정보를 제공하기 위해 조사하고 있다.
